Daylight Savings Time Started Today

Good Morning Everyone - Rise and Shine - If you live in the United States You better check your clocks on everything - Bread Machines - Toaster Ovens - Microwaves - Your PC

Because you need to make sure you have set your clock ahead one hour. This came earlier then normal due to the Energy Policy Act of 2005 which moved Daylight savings time to March 11th, 2007 and it doesn't end until November 4th, 2007.

You can read more about this issue at Dr-T as last night many people were working on making sure your Cell Phones, Banking Services, Computers Were set and accurate.

Announcement: Wordpress Comment Followup Added.

I had a few request via email about is it possible to add a way to get an email when a new comment is posted to a previously made comment. Well I found on and tested it out. Now when ever you make a comment you now have the option to be notified when a follow up comment is made by email and you can manage your subscriptions as well. So please use the comments to let and all the other readers a note and be notified when there are any changes made.

Announcement: New Wordpress plugin Added

Announcement: Today I added a new plugin for for my WordPress Site It is called ShareThis By Alex King (Thanks). This allows you to send your favorite stories to StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, or Email you friend with the story, and many more…

(NOTE: This Plugin Doesn't collect any email address' and I will never see what you sent,  to whom, or From whom) 

I really hope you share your favorites with whomever you want to share them with. I appriciate the love. :-) And I am sure your friends will love what I wrote (Hey I love what I write :-O )

I would recommend this plugin to any wordpress users as this really is a nice tool.

Remember if you have something that you would like for me to write about or talk about. Or if you have an article that you feel like submitting to me please do so.

Winter Blahs

Right now I am just going to write a small brief post as I just wanted to get this off of my chest. 

Officially - I Hate Winter

Easy enough - It is too cold here Right now it is 12 Degrees and it went up to a high of 21 degrees. (Party in the Tropics)

I had no problem cleaning off my vehicle - The hard part was being blocked in with all the snow the snow plow man (Sorry - Person) pushed up against the side of the vehicle. Plus then we had freezing rain and the "Snow" became a mound of Ice Encrusted Snow. Too many hours trying to dig the vehicle out of the snow.

I just want a Calgon Moment or even better look online at the travel sites and order a nice hotel room where the temp starts with a 8 and it is not a single digit.

Boy right now I could use a nice hot tub, with a ocean view, as I listen to the ocean's surf crashing on the  beach. Ahhh

Or even something like this Beach View.

Hmm - Where did I put that number to the travel agent - I need to book a hotel room soon and thaw out.

As the year comes to a close today - I would like to thank the hundreds of people that have decided to read Merlin's Tower each day. I am always look forward making new friends through this page and love hearing from my old acquaintances. As always I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas to make this a better site for all or what you would like me to write about. I know these things I write about are items that interest myself and seem to interest the readers and I would like to take this time to invite all to make a new years resolution to comment on the articles and let me know what you would like to see here at Merlin's Tower. You can do so my adding a comment or sending me an email. Merlins Tower - Slight Change of Colors

Thanks everyone for the comments and the emails about how Merlins Tower Looks and loaded. Well I made what I thought was going to be a simple change. Well I almost was - The hardest part was finding a more pleasing eye color rather then the yellow.

I had to edit all the graphics file my self and keep the transparency and color ranges to keep it in the web 2.0 "Look"

Then after I changed that look I had to of course change the Google ads so they looked good on the site. Yes, even though they are ads and larger I still want them to "Blend" into the over all design of the site. 

I encourage   BEG and Plead everyone to Please use the comments button below and let me know what you think of the new "Tan" Paper look.

Plus I added a few more background colors as well.
