Well - everyone here knows I like the simple things in life and I happened to see a photo of one of these Sumo Bean Bags -  Omni the Urban Lounge - To Quote the Sumo Website:

It’s a crash mat, lounge chair, loveseat or floor pillow to name a few, but the possibilities really do go on.

Sumo Beanbags are made from space age rip-proof nylon and come filled with top quality Sumo Beads. Omni is 4.5′ x 5.5′ and it only weighs 18 lbs!

This looks like something I want to try out and use. I can see using this sitting in front of the TV and watching my favorite TV Shows (CSI, Big Bang Theory or Monk) or Playing the xbox! But really I can see this as a comfortable place to Lounge listening to some good music (like the New NIN - Ghost Album)  and Pulling out the good old jounral and putting the pen to paper and writing my thoughts away. possibly drawing some Zentangles. Someday If I ever get one of these ingenious bean bags I will have to write a review of it. In the mean time - Check out their site and decide for your self.

Superbowl Ads - 2008

Well - It is that time of the year again - The Super Bowl Just finished a few hours ago and all the ads are up on YouTube for you to vote on your favorite ad.

This year the creative ads were much better then last year. My votes goes to the following few ads.

5th Place - I loved the Pepsi -ad with Justin Timberlake because he gets hit, hurt and knocked out. Sorry Justin - Just thought it was quite funny. Plus Anyone want to give me their Pepsi Points - Feel Free to Add them to the comments section. They will go to good use. (Wink Wink)

4th place - I have to say the Breathing Fire with Bud Light was Good - First Romantic and then….

3rd and 2nd - I would have to give it to Bridgestone for two of their ads:

Chatting Online - The Good The Bad and The New

I don’t know how many of you readers chat online - But I do every once in a while with several friends from across the wide Internet. Friends from High School, Friends from College, Friends that I have met along the way. Well Mostly I have used text chat programs - Well Meebo.com (Free online Chat Program  that connects you to all your friends) to be exact.

But, Recently one of my friends introduced me to 3d Chatting when we saw it on CSI. They were using Second Life.

But he stumbled upon a similar program that is much cheaper to user (FREE!!!) It is called IMVU - IMVU - I think spoken like ICQ.com (I MV U) is a really cool 3d Chat Client - You can have 3d Rooms that multiple people can chat in at one time, you can dress your 3d Avatar, fly, build rooms, build chat environments and much more.

I used this with several of my friends where we had a blast using the 3d environment to have some fun and play around in. Depending on the room, clothing you wear and what actions you bought (Yes you can buy things but Honest it really is free if you just use and play with the basics)  - You can add new life into your chats.

Since, this is free to use and chat with - I would recommend trying this out with a few friends - or perhaps meet a few new friends with the “Find Someone to Chat with Button” You will have a blast.

MAKE: DIY Retro Phone and PC Case MOD usable for Skype

Just had to share this with the readers here. I just saw this on Make.com about a really cool PC built in an old school (Antique) phone cabinet. The Best part is the phone is still usable as either Landline or as a Handset for Skype.

This just screams SteamPunk or is that two words Steam Punk? I love this look Technology with brass and wooden parts. Very Classy.

There really is not much else I can say about this - But I wish I had this kind of talent and patience to do something this creative. These people on MAKE are amazing.

Computer Controlled Beer Tap?

Ok I want one of these - Seems this older PC is now seeing better times - Looks like they recycled an old pc into a nice new PC with beer tap. I would like mine with Palulner. Mmm Good beer. So what is your favorite blend of Hops, Yeast, and Water? As I just mentioned one of my Favorites is Paulner Beir from German, I also enjoy savoring the flavor of a nice hand crafted Micro Brew like Golden Monkey from Victory Brewing, or even a nice flavor infused beer like Lindeman’s (Love the Cherry, Raspberry, Apple - OK I love them all) MMM Beer - Ben Franklin Said it best - “Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” -
