I just came across this video of Andy Warhol - Who happens to be one of my favorite artists. Another Pittsburgher like iJustine that started video blogging. This video below is just a small sample of Andy Warhol’s interest in everyday objects and making it art. Yes, it is a little strange - but no more stranger then what people do on a daily basis video blogging, podcasting, blogging. Real life recorded - Some art - some journalistic - and some just plain weird. But that is just me. Now my comment on this video - Andy didn’t know the secret of getting Heinz Ketchup out of the bottle - Holding it at a 45 degree angle and hitting the bottle on / around the Heinz logo on the glass.

Just announced - Well earlier this month - Is Roboworld at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This new exhibit will be part of their permanent display - It will cost about $3.4 million and will emphasize three aspects of artificial robotic behavior: sensing, thinking and acting.
This Display will also include members of the Carnegie Mellon University Robot Hall of Fame. On April 9th Anthony Daniels Dropped by for this announcement as his famous character C3PO is on display in the Robot Hall of Fame.
This exhibit hopes to help to foster kids into careers in Science, Math, and Technology and hopefully relating to the field of robotics. From all that I read on this new display this will be the largest of it kind in the nation.
I know I can’t wait till this display opens - if it is like the other displays there - it will included lots of hands on and lots of fun with a bunch of education thrown in with out it seeming like you are learning.
And as R2D2 would Say:

Ever wish you could go back in time and send that crucial email that could have changed everything — if only it hadn’t slipped your mind? Gmail can now help you wiht those missed deadlines, missed birthdays and missed Opportunities.
Yes there are web services that will send you and email dated in the future- but now you can back date an email and make it look like it came from the past. Blame Technology - Hey it was the computer that didn’t send it right away and look at the date it was sent. You should have had it by now.
But you have to make this messages count - As you can only do this 10 times in a calendar year.
So the next time you forgot your girlfriends birthday or you forgot to send a report to your boss and you need to have it look like it came from the past. Here is your chance to make it work.
See the screen shot below to see what I am talking about.
Great Job Google - Keep the improvements coming.

Well - It is that time of the year again - The Super Bowl Just finished a few hours ago and all the ads are up on YouTube for you to vote on your favorite ad.
This year the creative ads were much better then last year. My votes goes to the following few ads.
5th Place - I loved the Pepsi -ad with Justin Timberlake because he gets hit, hurt and knocked out.
Sorry Justin - Just thought it was quite funny. Plus Anyone want to give me their Pepsi Points - Feel Free to Add them to the comments section. They will go to good use. (Wink Wink)
4th place - I have to say the Breathing Fire with Bud Light was Good - First Romantic and then….
3rd and 2nd - I would have to give it to Bridgestone for two of their ads:
Scream:
and Unexpected Objects in Road - Loved the Ending well I like the ending in my mind better.
And in 1st Place

Yes, you read the title correctly - a look at the future from 1958 - The following video will show what the people from 1958 Thought the future might look like. This clip just under 10 mins long is quite fascinating. I think it predicts the GPS, TV Rear View Mirrors, The Huge Highways Signs, and Traffic Warning Systems (hmm like the ones on some GPS Units)
Excerpt from Video Info: “An excerpt from the 1958 “Disneyland” TV Show episode entitled “Magic Highway USA”. In this last part of the show, an exploration into possible future Transportation technologies is made. It’s hard to believe how little we’ve accomplished on this front since 1958, and how limited the scope for imagining such future technologies has become. Witness an artifact from a time where the future was greeted with optimism. Note the striking animation style here, achieved with fairly limited animation and spectacular layouts.”
